Earlier this month I made my first Shein purchase ever. I have been going back and forth on buying clothing from Shein, honestly from online. I am a curvy and short person, so I have to try on clothing as much as possible to make sure it fits and falls right.
I also nervous because I was afraid that the quality wasn’t going to be good 0r fit me. But then some people in my life turned me onto Shein because I was actually able to see the clothing and quality on a live human. I just decided to go for it.
I just purchased four items because I didn’t want to go too crazy and regret it, but I am so glad I did purchase from Shein.
The four items I purchased were some basic and neutral pieces. I got two tops and two dresses. Two of the items are from Shein’s basic line, which you have to check it out; amazing pieces.
Before we go on to the list. I want to say that I purchased these pieces using Afterpay. It was so easy to sign up and attach my card. The app is super easy to use and making the payments are fast. No hundreds of pages to click yes to before finally paying. I am going to use after pay for a lot of purchases when available.
SHEIN BASICS Drop Shoulder Solid Pullover in “Army Green” XL
This was the first item I pulled out off the package and oh my goodness guys, this is one of the softest sweatshirts I have ever felt. The color is exactly how I thought it would look and it is also very true to size. I ordered an XL in everything and I could have ordered the L in this item, but I do love the oversize look of this.
SHEIN Plus Turtle Neck Rib-knit Tee “Khaki” 0XL
I chose this top because I wanted to find some more turtlenecks in basic color, but I didn’t want it see through. I love this top because the quality is amazing on this. It is not one bit see through and it just feels expensive for an inexpensive price. I purchased this top from the plus size section in 0XL
SHEIN Ribbed Solid Bodycon Dress “Chocolate Brown” XL
When I saw this dress and I knew I was going to like already because I have something similar, but shorter. The only thing I was skeptical about was that I didn’t know if it was going to be see through. Now of course, I read the reviews on these items and that helped. But until you get the product, you never really know. This dress is beautiful and versatile. I plan on putting together some really cute outfits.
SHEIN BASICS Stand Collar Bodycon Dress “Coffee Brown” XL
I have been looking for a dress that is fitted and long. This one fits the bill and more. It is not see through (another win) and it has a thin thickness to it; if you know what I mean. I will say this dress is FITTED, so be mindful of your undergarments with this one.
I am definitely going to purchase again from Shein and not just for myself. I plan on slowly updating my wardrobe as I lose weight and Shein will definitely be a part of that list.
